I admit I read the chapter on PKD more closely than the rest as it is my focus. Sean is a serious Dickhead and that first chapter is super excellent and taught me a few things about some of PKD's musical taste. The book goes deep with the influence of German music on Man on the High Castle and Martian Time Slip. That MTS stuff was most interesting to me as that is something I never would have noticed or discovered on my own.
The majority of the book is about the history of techno music from Germany. Sean is a genius for musical history. GREAT stuff. Short review, but it is an excellent text; stoked to have it on my PKD reference shelf.
